Future-ready?
I’ve posted before about my readiness to embrace the future.
I think it’s just good business practice to be open to all the developments and advances that are out there – often, we’re just being stubborn when we don’t welcome them.
This stood me in good stead on a recent assignment which was not only extremely technical, but also was about as far removed from the traditional interpreting booth as I could possibly imagine.
Most of my interpreting was done in a high-speed vehicle, using tour guide system interpreting equipment and whispered interpreting.
And no, I’m not the new James Bond 😉
